Nashville’s Filip Forsberg has already reached his goal total from last season with still five weeks of games remaining. He scored his second natural hat trick this week, with the second coming today in the second period against St. Louis. The first came Tuesday when he did all the scoring in a 3-2 win over Toronto.

In today’s game, Forsberg scored at 54 seconds, 5:39 and 14:49 of the second period to give the Predators a jump from 1-0 to 4-0. They ended up winning 5-0. These were the first two hat tricks of his career in the regular season, as he had one previously in the playoffs.
