Linus Klasen is no stranger to dirty dangles and amazing creativity on shootouts. His between the legs spin-o-rama is one example, and he even has his own Top 5 shootout goals clip from Sports Center.
What is more ridiculous is that many of Klasen’s incredible shootout moves come during international competition.
Klasen’s latest filthy shootout goal came on November 6th against Russia during the Karjala Cup Tournament. After a quick little bounce of the puck off his left skate, Klasen lasered a shot home to the back of the net. I’m amazed that he has the poise to attempt such crazy moves during competition like that, but it seems to be working out well for him.
I’m beginning to think that the Detroit Red Wings should look into acquiring Klasen just so they can score in the shootout, an area they have tremendously struggled the past couple of seasons.
