Amazing Stanislav Galiev Preseason Goal

I sincerely love that hockey is back. Even though we’re still waiting for the regular season to officially begin on Wednesday, the highlights are already rolling in from leagues around the world.

Last week, we showcased two crafty and beautiful spin-o-rama goals. Each was unique and featured a different finish, but both were prime examples of a great spin-o-rama in action.

Today, we have another spin-o-rama type goal which was scored by Stanislav Galiev of the Hershey Bears during their preseason matchup on October 1st. The difference with this goal, however, is that Galiev skated from the wing right through the slot and split two defenders with a 360. Somehow Galiev maintained control through the entire move, and finished with a nice wrister. Check out the crazy goal below:

As I mentioned, Galiev’s is currently playing for the Hershey Bears in the American Hockey League. Last season, he split time between the Bears and the Reading Royals of the ECHL. He also used to play for the Indiana Ice in the USHL and the Saint John Sea Dogs in the QMJHL.
