Same stuff, different day. The Los angeles Kings have once again defeated the New Jersey Devils by a score of 2 – 1 with the game wining goal coming in Overtime. This time around however, the goal was scored by trade deadline acquisition Jeff Carter. Carter took the puck high across the top of the circle and let a wrist shot go that passed Devil’s goalie Martin Brodeur. The Kings dog pile ensued and the Kings now host the Devils tonight with a 2 – 0 series lead.
