Another solid night of playoff hockey as all games except one have been played so far; Florida Panthers vs. New Jersey Devils.

Last night results had the New York Rangers taking it hard to the Ottawa Senators, 4-2 win Rangers. A good fast paced game, hopefully the series goes 7 games.

Martin Havlat of the San Jose Sharks netted an overtime goal as the Sharks came from behind to defeat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 in 2 overtimes. Perhaps the Blues’ youth is not playoff ready yet.

Boston Bruins and the Washington Capitals had a defensive battle by going into overtime with a 0-0 tie. Chris Kelly of the Bruins had a ripper from the top of the circle and won the game in overtime. Despite playing a solid game, Capitals netminder Braden Holtby looked a little weak on the game winner; should of had it.

In the third overtime game of the night, home team Phoenix Coyotes outlasted the Chicago Blackhawks, winning 3-2. Blackhawks’ Captain Jonathan Toews was back in the lineup and had a goal and an assist on the night. You’re going to want to watch this series, despite no fights last night, it seems like a scrum after every whistle had occurred. Phoenix has grit and they have the whiteout.
