The San Jose Sharks have put up an impressive display since the All-Star break. It seems they finally found their scoring touch and have bulldozed their way to the top of the Pacific Division and are in a tight battle with the Detroit Red Wings for second overall in the Western Conference – all of this after being outside looking in at the playoff picture just a few short months ago. Helping the cause is Ben Eager, whom the Sharks acquired from Atlanta for a draft pick in this year’s Entry Level Draft. Check out this sweet bit of razzle dazzle on Eager’s part from last week as he tips a pass up between his legs and dangles Dallas goaltender Andrew Raycroft before sliding the puck home into a wide open net. Tic-tac-toe and checkmate. Sharks went on to win by a score of 6-0.
