Patrick Kane ends Canadiens win streak with dynamic goal

The Montreal Canadiens had their 10-game win streak snapped by the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday thanks to a beautiful effort by Patrick Kane that went on to become the game-winning tally.

The tally came with just over three minutes remaining in the second period when Montreal turned the puck over in the defensive zone. Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews corralled the puck and made a quick tap-pass to Kane, who darted into the slot, deked past defenseman Jeff Petry, and then roofs a shot past goaltender Al Montoya as he’s being pushed down from behind by Max Pacioretty.

The goal ended up solidifying the 3-2 victory for Chicago and marks Kane’s sixth of the season. He has 18 points in 16 games.
