KHL player scores javelin-style shootout goal

The Lacrosse-style goal has been around for a while now, but a javelin-style goal is a new one to us.
Ak Bars Kazan of the KHL held a showcase event ahead of the upcoming 2016-17 season, and Vladimir Tkachyov took part in the breakaway challenge where he unveiled one of the most bizarre and jaw-dropping goals we’ve ever seen. He literally pucks up the puck Lacrosse-style on his backhand, but as he’s approaching the goalie he lifts his stick and chucks it like a javelin into the net.
