If you’ve ever wanted to see an NHL player embarrass a beer league hockey player, now you have a chance.
In a new series of YouTube videos called Bobby vs. Beerleaguer, the Ottawa Senators Bobby Ryan battles beer league hockey players on the ice. Bobby competes against the other players in various challenges ranging from faceoffs to sniping. If the beer leaguer wins a challenge, Ryan pays him $100.
Ryan also has another video on his channel where he goes over one of his dangles that he calls the “one eyed pirate.” In the video, he discusses how he uses a backhand toe drag as a one on one move. There’s a nice slow motion video capturing the move as well, so you get a good look at how it’s done and how it can be used in a game.
It might be a good idea to subscribe to this channel on YouTube as it looks like there will be more content coming. All of the current videos (six at the time of this writing), were uploaded only a day ago. Hopefully it remains active over the summer and beyond.
