NHL Three Stars – What are they using?

FIRST STAR – VLADIMIR TARASENKO, RW, ST. LOUIS BLUES

Vladimir Tarasenko cruised to first star of the week with three goals and three assists during three games played last week. He led all players during this time, and currently has 61 points from 33 goals and 28 assists. He also leads the St. Louis Blues in points.

Tarasenko is a CCM guy out on the ice. Starting up top you’ll find a CCM helmet. On his hands are CCM custom four roll gloves, while he uses a CCM Ribcor Reckoner stick. His pants are a custom CCM model, and on his feet are older Reebok Ribcor skates.

 

SECOND STAR – VINCENT TROCHECK, C, FLORIDA PANTHERS

Vincent Trochek also picked up six points last week, his coming from a goal and five assists. He matched a career high four points, from a goal and three assists, in Florida’s 6-2 win over the Senators. Trocheck currently has 20 goals and 26 assists on the season. He trails only Jaromir Jagr and Jussi Jokinen in points.

Trocheck uses a variety of gear out on the ice. Starting on his feet, he’s wearing the Bauer Supreme 1X skates. On his hands are STX Surgeon gloves, and he also uses the STX Surgeon RX stick. His pants are from CCM and so is his helmet.

 

THIRD STAR – KEITH KINKAID, G, NEW JERSEY DEVILS

Keith Kinkaid managed to earn third star honors with two outstanding performances between the pipes. He helped the Devils defeat the Los Angeles Kings and the San Jose Sharks while only allowing one goal. In those two games he had a 0.48 goals against average and a .981 save percentage. Kinkaid is 7-6-1 on the season.

Kinkaid uses a Warrior goalie stick along with Vaughn Velocity 6 series goal pads, blocker, and catch glove.
