Bauer Nexus 1N Shin Guards
- Updated: February 22, 2016
Launching this summer, Bauer will be refreshing the Nexus line with the all new Bauer Nexus 1N shin guards.
The Bauer Nexus 1N shin guards will feature Seven+ technology to help improve protection. Seven+ technology helps with multiple impact management. This means that the foam is able to withstand repeated impacts and continue to maintain its natural shape and protective ability.
The Nexus 1N shin guards stick with the classic higher volume fit provided by the Nexus line. This design helps provide incredible coverage, while still maintaining great mobility.
Bauer has improved both the knee cap width as well as the shin guard width on the new 1N shin guards. They have also improved the strap with an all new tune fit strap system. This new strapping system will allow for more adjustability which will provide an improved and more secure fit. After using the previous Nexus shin guards, the new strapping system is something I really look forward to.
The Bauer Nexus 1N shin guards will use a 37.5 technology liner as well. This liner will help keep you cool, dry, and comfortable throughout play.
Keep an eye out this summer for the all new Bauer Nexus 1N shin guards. They will be available at hockey retailers everywhere and also available from our friends at Ice and Inline Warehouse.
