NHL Three Stars – What are they using?

FIRST STAR – SIDNEY CROSBY, C, PITTSBURGH PENGUINS

Sidney Crosby appears to finally be on the top of his game again and has been tearing up the stat sheet recently with a number of multi-point games. Last week, the Penguins star tallied five goals and three assists while earning first star honors. Crosby led the league in points and goals last week, and now has 22 goals, 27 assists, and 49 points on the season.

Sidney Crosby uses CCM gear out on the ice. It starts with a CCM helmet up top, and ends up with CCM Ribcor 50k skates on his feet. In between you’ll find CCM pro spec gloves, along with a CCM Ribcor Reckoner stick. Crosby also uses CCM pro model pants.

SECOND STAR – ERIK KARLSSON, D, OTTAWA SENATORS

Erik Karlsson led the league with seven assists last week in order to grab second star honors. His assists came in three games, including a four assist night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Karlsson now leads the league in assists with 48 and is tied for second in overall points with 59.

Karlsson uses a couple different brands out on the ice. He starts up top with a CCM helmet. For gloves, Karlsson is using the Warrior Covert QR1 gloves, and he also uses a Warrior Dynasty HD1 stick. On his feet are a pair of the custom Bauer Nexus skates with X-Rib pattern. Karlsson also uses Warrior pro pants.

THIRD STAR – VINCENT TROCHECK, C, FLORIDA PANTHERS

Vincent Trocheck had a big week for the Florida Panthers, tallying three goals and three assists while earning third star honors. His efforts also helped the Panthers earn big wins over the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings. Trocheck now has 17 goals on the season, leading the Panthers.

Trocheck also uses a variety of gear on the ice. Starting up top, he has a CCM helmet. On his hands are STX Stallion gloves, and he also uses the STX Surgeon RX stick. He wears CCM pro style pants, and then on his feet are the Bauer Vapor 1X skates.
