Chanel Leszczynski, girlfriend of Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk, was arrested Sunday afternoon following a domestic incident reported at a party according to La Presse
Galchenyuk and Leszczynski were involved in the incident at a party thrown by Galchenyuk at his Montreal apartment on Saturday night. Leszczynski allegedly showed up to the party and had a somewhat violent altercation with the host, and her boyfriend, Galchenyuk. Police were called and later arrested the 27-year-old woman.
According to 25Stanley.com, when Leszczynski arrived at the party, she was not too happy with the situation. Now that can certainly be interpreted many ways, but one can only assume there was another woman involved somewhere. They also indicated the scene became very intense, requiring police intervention.
The 21-year-old Galchenyuk currently has 10 goals and 17 assists in 43 games played this season. Let’s hope this incident doesn’t derail his success.
