Nino Niederreiter’s Goal Against Ondrej Pavelec

Hot on the heels of his first NHL hat trick last Thursday, Nino Niederreiter is once again making highlight reels everywhere.

Niederreiter, of the Minnesota Wild, scored only one goal in today’s game against the Winnipeg Jets, but it was a beauty. After showing a lot of patience by waiting out Pavelec, Niederreiter quickly went from forehand to backhand as he lost balance and managed to slide the puck into an empty net.

This goal is something you truly have to see to believe. Check it out below:

After tonight, Niederreiter now has 7 goals on the season with his Nexus 8000 stick, along with 2 assists. He’s on pace to set a career high in goals this season, and will need 15 to do so.

Niederreiter currently leads the Wild in goals, and is tied for 2nd on the team in points.
