The Best Veterans Day and Military Inspired Gear

Happy Veterans Day to all of the Vets out there that read our blog. We are truly thankful for you and your service.

To mark the occasion, we’ve decided to round up some of the best Veterans Day or military inspired gear that has been worn around the various hockey leagues. These items could be from this season, or past seasons, but they are all awesome in their own way.

Bakersfield Condors – The Condors military inspired jerseys paid homage to the flag planting at Iwo Jima, and also included stars and stripes throughout the jersey.

Pittsburgh Penguins Camo Jerseys – The NHL doesn’t wear their special jerseys during games, but they are often worn during practices and warm-ups, then auctioned off to raise money for military related charities.

Ontario Reign Flag Jersey – The Ontario Reign wore a special flag jersey a few seasons back, looking good there in the stars and stripes.

Green Bay Gamblers Stars and Stripes – The Gamblers wore these incredible jerseys and matching socks this season. They even took it a step further and paired an amazing helmet design with their jerseys and socks.
