Teemu Pulkkinen Scores 2 Goals in 9 Seconds

The Grand Rapids Griffins seem to have someone special on their hands with Teemu Pulkkinen. The 22-year-old native of Finland currently leads the team in goals and points, and is tied for second on the team in assists. He’s a skilled player, and in his first full season with the Griffins is proving that he wants to quickly make the jump to the NHL.

Last night, Pulkkinen managed to accomplish a rare feat. In the Griffins game against the Milwaukee Admirals, Pulkkinen scored goals on two incredible shots within a 9 second span. In fact, while watching the video of the goals, they look nearly identical.

Pulkkinen is known for having one of the hardest shots in the league. Drafted in the fourth round, #111 overall, Pulkkinen was a selection of the Detroit Red Wings in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. As a known shooter, the Red Wings surely look forward to him being an NHL ready player.

With a shot like his, Pulkkinen could be an asset for the Wings on the power-play and resemble an Alex Ovechkin or Steve Stamkos type player with the man advantage.

Check out this ridiculous clip of Pulkkinen’s two quick slapshot goals and leave us your thoughts in the comments!
