In addition to their updated player equipment, Mission will also be releasing new gear for the goalies later this year. The Mission Inhaler FL1 goalie skates will be among those products, and will build off of the Axiom G7 skates released last year.
The new Mission Inhaler FL1 goalie skates will continue to use the front loaded chassis technology which debuted on the G7. This unique chassis style features three wheels up front, a space, and then a rear wheel. This setup is meant to keep goalies in a ready stance and balanced on the balls of their feet. The space will also help prevent straps from interfering with the wheels.
Mission’s Inhaler FL1 goalie skates have kept a color scheme and design that is similar to the new Inhaler AC1 skates which will also drop later this year. The FL1 goalie skates will even include vents on the side of the boot, as well as blue rink rat crossbar goalie wheels.
Expect the new Mission Inhaler FL1 goalie skates to hit retail stores on September 15th.
