Warrior seems to be a bit less than thrilled about the upcoming release of the new Bauer Vapor 1X stick which features Quick Release Technology, or QRT. In fact, they have gone so far as to throw a couple of jabs in Bauer’s direction regarding the new product and it’s focus on getting a shot off as fast as possible.
The first bit came from WarriorStickGuy who posted a Jimmy Fallon thank you note which politely thanked Bauer and mentioned that their new stick technology was featured in last years Covert QR1 stick from Warrior.
A few hours later a different post came from the official WarriorSports Instagram account, but if you can read between the lines you’ll see that the message was the same. In the caption, WarriorSports notes that the Warrior Covert is home of the original quick release.

With the Bauer Vapor 1x stick now available for pre-order, and competition heating up, the time seems right for Warrior to stake their claim as the makers of the first ultra lower kick point and quick release stick with the Covert QR1.
Keep on eye on these Instagram accounts over the next few weeks and we’ll see if Warrior takes any more jabs in Bauer’s direction. But as it already stands, it’s your move Bauer.
