Johnny Gaudreau and Drew Shore Score Incredible Goals for USA
- Updated: May 21, 2014
The dangle rods were out in full force for Johnny Gaudreau and Drew Shore during Team USA’s 5-4 victory on Tuesday at the World Championships. Gaudreau and Shore put on a show in tallying a pair of equally impressive highlight reel goals against Germany.
Shore tallied Team USA’s second goal in the contest, all on a brilliant individual effort. After streaking in along the left wing, Shore beat the sole German defenseman on a great between the legs play and looked to easily beat the goalie as well. Check out the video of Shore’s goal below:

Not to be outdone, Gaudreau used a nice little drag to beat the German defense on his goal, and somehow made it all happen through a ton of traffic. His nice hands on full display in the clip below should prove to be quite an addition to the Calgary Flames next season. Check out Gaudreau’s goal below:

Gaudreau picked up four points in the matchup against Germany. It also included a couple of beautiful assists. The opening goal was courtesy of Justin Abdelkader after receiving a sick assist from Gaudreau. Check out the gif courtesy of @myregularface.
Team USA will continue their efforts in the World Championships with a quarterfinal matchup against the Czech Republic tomorrow.
