During Tuesday night’s Game 3 between Detroit and Boston Brad Marchand of the Bruins was on the wrong side of a dangerous-looking hit from Brendan Smith. Smith was called for interference and Marchand went back to the dressing room for treatment and came back. But if you watch the replay of the hit over again, you’ll notice that Marchand did a great job of diving selling the call to the officials. Smith made contact with Marchand’s left knee, and after Marchand flew in the air and rolled around the Joe Louis Arena ice he grabbed his right knee.
Maybe be figured that Fenway Sports Group was watching their fellow Boston sports team and they can put in a good word to Liverpool FC manager Brendan Rogers in case if they need to sign an American to play Diver forward at Anfield next season.
Like the crowd was chanting, “BULLSH*T! BULLSH*T!”
