Do not tell the Buffalo Sabres they are not making the playoffs. In what has been an up and down season, currently sitting in 12th spot within the Eastern Conference and only 5 points out of 8th, the Sabres blanked the Anaheim Ducks 2-0 last night. This was no small feat as the Ducks are 6-3-1 in their last 10 and in a similar situation in the Western Conference. Netminder Ryan Miller, who has not had the best of seasons, made an impressive 43 saves for his 4th shutout of the year and 25th of his career. Many have written the Buffalo Sabres off, including myself, but you never know what will happen in the last bit of the season.
