Eliezer Sherbatov Ridiculous Breakaway Goal of the Year

Check out this ridiculous goal from Eliezer Sherbatov of the Israeli National Team. This dandy came from the IIHF Divison III Championships in April, but flew under the radar until recently. As you can see, Sherbatov actually pulls the puck back between his legs, flips it up, then tips it past the keeper. Absolutely insane goal, and one that will be hard to top.

If you’re wondering, Sherbatov currently plays in the QMJHL and split time between the Montreal Juniors and Baie-Comeau Drakkar last season. Here’s a link to his stats over at HockeyDB.

    • Amazing goal. You would think that he could play great in Juniors with great trick skills but those don’t make up for the rest of his game. Horrible stats. Obviously not a team player. Doesn’t play defense. Too bad.
