CCM Hockey will refresh their Tacks glove line this month and at the top price point will be the updated CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Gloves.
The CCM Tacks AS-V Pro Gloves are designed to be game changers, and one feature in particular is drawing some attention early on. Let’s take a closer look at the glove and everything that makes it great.
Starting off, the new CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves will feature an anatomical design around the hand. It is constructed with Max Protection ASD (Anatomical Shield Design) with pro approved polyester + PU leather. This setup is professional grade protection but also offers a roomy and mobile design to keep your hands comfortable throughout each game.
Inside the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves you will find a Polygiene + odor crunch treated liners and comfort foams. This treatment will help prevent the growth of odor causing bacteria, and hopefully keep your hands smelling fresh for a long time.
Moving into the fingers, there will be a dual layer setup with premium high density PE foam along with PE plastic inserts. This protection setup is designed for pros, and will be extremely durable. The addition of nash fingertips and a 3-piece index finger make for a solid setup for the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves with premium mobility in the fingers. The AS-V Pro gloves also feature a 2-piece flexible thumb for tremendous mobility and grip.
Through the backhand of the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves, you will find CCM’s all new Nest Tech. This ventilated backhand with a pro inspired backplate will help to keep your hands cool, help your gloves dry faster, and help keep your backhand more protected.
Flipping your hand over, the palm of the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves will feature a polygene + odor crunch treated dura palm pro sublimated AX suede with reinforcement. All that to say that the AX Suede palm is sublimated with a bit of a camouflage look, has a reinforcement in the high wear areas of the palm, and has the same treatments as the inside liner to keep it smelling fresh by preventing the growth of odor causing bacteria.
Back in the cuff, the CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves will feature a flex motion segmented open cuff. This design is shorter to help keep your hands moving quick with more mobility than in previous iterations.
The new CCM Tacks AS-V Pro gloves will come in five standard colors, including a fresh new black and gold color way seen below.
