Bauer Supreme UltraSonic Stick
- Updated: July 14, 2020
As we get closer to the NHL returning to action, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for players using the upcoming Bauer Supreme UltraSonic stick.
The Bauer Supreme UltraSonic stick will be the latest elite level and top of the line stick from Bauer Hockey. Let’s jump in to the details and see exactly what makes this stick special.
Starting with the shaft, the Bauer Supreme UltraSonic stick will use Lightweight Asymmetrical TeXtreme carbon fiber which is 20% lighter than traditional carbon fiber and manages impact stress 20% better as well. The carbon fiber weave will be done with Advanced Carbon Layering (ACL) construction where the fibers are strategically placed to increase strength and durability.
The Bauer Supreme UltraSonic stick is a true one-piece stick and will see square shaft dimensions to provide you with a steady grip while out on the ice. It will also contain Bauer’s DuraFlex Resin System which is important in managing stresses put on the shaft from flex and impacts. This resin ultimately helps to improve durability and make your stick last longer.
Moving down lower in the stick, you will find the SONIC Taper Technology which was first seen in the Supreme ADV stick. If you’re not familiar already, this is a seven-sided geometry which allowed Bauer to remove excess carbon fiber while maintaining strength and enhancing energy transfer and shot power.
The blade of the Bauer Supreme UltraSonic stick will feature FAST CORE technology which uses an Aerofoam core to make the blade lighter, but also an Energy Core right in the strike zone of the blade to enhance your shot. It works by absorbing energy from the impact of the stick connecting with the puck while shooting, and then releasing that energy back into the puck to help launch it off the blade. The blade also features Advanced Carbon Layering for a lighter and stronger design.
The Bauer Supreme UltraSonic stick is set up to be an awesome addition to the Supreme family. It will launch this summer, so keep an eye out at your local hockey retailer, or visit our friends at Ice and Inline Warehouse to pick one up when they launch.
