Blake Coleman Scores Incredible One Handed Goal

Blake Coleman might not be a household name quite yet, but it might happen soon if he keeps scoring like he did tonight.

Coleman scored two goals tonight for the New Jersey Devils in a 5-4 shootout loss, the second of which was an incredible one handed tally.

After Pavel Zacha won a defensive zone face-off back to P.K. Subban, the Devils new defender launched an alley-oop pass down the ice for a streaking Coleman. Coleman absolutely wheeled down the ice and managed to beat out Dmitry Kulikov for positioning, getting one hand on the puck and flipping it over Winnipeg Jets goaltender Laurent Brossoit and into the back of the net.

With two goals on the night, Coleman is picking up right where he left off last season. During the 2018-19 campaign, he set career highs in goals (22), assists (14), and points (36). With a healthy Devils squad around him, and some new additions like Subban, Coleman could be well on his way to more career highs.
