Bauer Supreme 2S Skates

Bauer Supreme 2S Skates

In 2018, Bauer will launch a refresh of their Supreme line of skates which will be led by the all new Bauer Supreme 2S skates.

At this point, not much is known about the Bauer Supreme 2S skates, except for what we have seen in a couple of leaked images. What we have seen so far is a darker overall color scheme, with a mostly black quarter package. Gold accents will still appear on the skates, but the there appears to be more black used than in the previous generation Supreme skate.

We could also see that the tongue on the Bauer Supreme 2S skates appears to be a version of the FlexLock Pro tongue found on the latest Vapor 1X skates. This tongue will provide more protection than the previous Supreme 1S tongue, and will also be thermoformable, allowing for a more customized fit.

At this point, there is no word on a fixed release date. However, based on previous releases, we would expect the new Bauer Supreme 2S skates to drop in April 2018.

Stay tuned for more details!

  1. Bauer sucks! All they do is put on new graphics and a some crappy tongue and liner that fall apart …Y don’t they focus on making a 1 PCE boot like CCM and the True/VH Skates? I will never buy another peice of crappy of Bauer gear…

  2. I have worked closely with Bauer for about 9 years now, with junior “A” and CHL teams, and have had some sneak peaks of the new 2S pro supreme skate. Bauer has a NEW LS4 black carbon steel blade, and you can actually see it a bit if you really look at the picture above. I do wish however they would follow suit with CCM and create a one piece boot. The outsole never seems to really last as long as it should and normally ends up separating from the boot.

  3. Had a pair..don’t like the tongue..too flimsy the tongue…very comfortable though..the upper eyelets are a pain they catch the end of the lace all the time an overrated feature..dont see many pros with this tongue on they ‘re 1x’s

    • How could you have a pair of 2s skates they haven’t com out yet, if you want to look at flimsy toung check out CCM. My father cooached the Olympic team, he does very well in power skating and I have had some of the best power skating instructingij the state and the 1s toung has nothing to do with how you skate, I can do some things that college players can’t do

      • Aslo the tongue stiffness is interchangeable. So if you want a mid flex put it the mid option. If you want the more flimsy option go with the soft. If you want a stiffer tongue option put in the hard option. It’s all to your liking!

        • The 1S tongue is too spongey, so I added 3 stiff/flex inserts and it’s much stiffer, locks in your foot so it doesn’t flex forward, feels way more responsive.
