2016 NHL Prospect Tournament Schedule

The 2016 NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Michigan, begins September 16th. The annual tournament features prospects from eight different NHL teams. The teams will be split into two different divisions and compete in round robin games before a crossover championship game is played.

Also, for the first time in the tournament’s history, you will be able to stream the games live online. To stream, you can head over to FoxSportsGo.com and log in using details from your cable provider.

Here is a list of the teams participating this season:

Gordie Howe Division

  • Columbus Blue Jackets
  • Chicago Blackhawks
  • St. Louis Blues
  • Detroit Red Wings

Ted Lindsay Division

  1. Carolina Hurricanes
  2. Minnesota Wild
  3. Dallas Stars
  4. New York Rangers

The tournament begins today and will conclude on Tuesday, September 20th. Here is a look at the matchups for each day:

Friday, September 16th

3:30pm Dallas Stars vs. Minnesota Wild

7:00pm Chicago Blackhawks vs. St. Louis Blues
7:30pm Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Detroit Red Wings

Saturday, September 17th

3:30pm New York Rangers vs. Dallas Stars
4:00pm Detroit Red Wings vs. Chicago Blackhawks
7:00pm Carolina Hurricanes vs. Minnesota Wild
7:30pm St. Loius Blues vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

Monday, September 19th

6:30pm – 3rd Place Game (2nd Lindsay Division vs. 2nd Howe Division)
7:00pm – Championship Game (1st Howe Division vs. 1st Lindsay Division)
