Ice

Ice Guardians is directed by Brett Harvey and dives deep into the personalities of several current and former hockey players, notably fighters and enforcersĀ . They are the guys who’s main job is to protect their teammates no matter the toll it takes on their bodies. Some do it by laying out players with an open ice check and others so it by throwing punches a shift after someone did something to the star player.

Several players profiled include Brett Hull, Chris Chelios, Joe Kocur, Wendell Clark, and Jarome Iginla. This movie has already been profiled in Maxim, BroBible, and The Hockey News.

Check out the trailer below. The World Premiere is September 12 at the Royal Cinema in Toronto.
