Boston Pride To Host “Denna Day” for Teammate Laing

It’s been 44 days since Boston Pride forward Denna Laing suffered a tragic injury playing in the Women’s Outdoor Classic.

Her team will play an important game against the Connecticut Whale for reasons on and off the ice. While the two teams are separated by one point in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) standings, the teams will also come together to raise funds for Laing. The Pride are hosting “Denna Day” that will feature a silent auction, chuck-a-puck, 50/50 raffle, Denna Laing player t-shirts and bracelets. The proceeds of which will go towards the Denna Laing Fund to assist with medical bills stemming from her injury.

The game will take place Sunday, February 14 and the game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. All fans to wear yellow to the game in honor of Denna. To follow Denna’s journey, visit dennalaing.org.
