What this Arizona Coyotes fan did last night took a lot of courage, and plenty of passion for her hometown Coyotes.
Rhonda Pearson, who can also be found on twitter @CenterIceSweety, went to the Glendale City Council meeting in order to offer her support for the Coyotes franchise she loves dearly. The meeting was called to try to void the 15 year lease agreement, resulting in the Coyotes departure from Arizona.
Instead of just showing her support for the club, Pearson, who is a season ticket holder, called out Mayor Jerry Weiers for his lack of support.
“How much did you pay for your jersey?” she asked Weiers. “How much did you pay for your tickets for those games? Because I know I paid a hell of a lot more than you did.”
Pearson went on to passionately discuss how Weiers, nor his fellow council members, pay for any of their tickets to Coyotes games or other events in community.
