It’s hard to believe it’s been 12 years since the Arizona I still want to say Phoenix Coyotes changed their color scheme and logo from the kachina-style Coyote to their current howling Coyote logo.

With them in possession of the third overall pick (and which pick Chicago ends up with), Arizona feels it’s time for another overhaul of their uniform. they’ve undergone many small tweaks in the last 12 years such as updating the shoulder patch when they changed from Phoenix to Arizona. One thing that is true (according to the Arizona Republic) is that the logo will stay the same. Which could be the main thing going for the team, as The Hockey News just voted their logo as the second-best in the league. Their Sedona-red primary color is one of the best in the league because it’s bold and doesn’t have too many other colors. Some of the best uniforms in the league utilizes no more than 3 colors such as Detroit, Toronto, Chicago, and Tampa Bay.

The new uniforms will be unveiled at the team’s NHL Draft party on June 26 at Gila River Arena. Some players will be in attendance including Brendan Perlini, Max Domi, Connor Murphy, and Christian Dvorak to show off and model what they’ll be wearing on the ice.

According to the team, the draft party will have its doors open at 2:30 p.m. and fans should enter Gila River Arena at the main entrance (Gate 4). The event is free and open to the public.
