Warrior Kicks off Dynasty HD1 VIP Program
- Updated: May 5, 2015
After a successful run with the Covert QR1 VIP program last year, Warrior has brought it back for a second run with the upcoming Dynasty HD1 stick.
If you’re not familiar with the Warrior VIP program, it’s a way for Warrior to get their latest stick into the hands of influencers who will spread the word about their new product. Players who are part of the VIP program will receive the stick ahead of the launch date, and can then share their experiences with friends and teammates.
“We will be releasing our new Dynasty HD stick line in the coming months and we’ve kicked off another VIP program geared to the Dynasty HD1,” said Keith Perera, Brand Manager for Warrior Hockey.
“Dynasty is all about Power Unleashed and we feel that if VIP players experience the explosive added velocity to their shots – they’re going to tell their friends.”
Warrior just may be on to something special here with the VIP program, and it’s a great way to build anticipation for the release.
“Hockey players are best influenced by their teammates and friends. They’re not interested in the latest marketing jargon that we use to sell sticks, they trust other players’ opinion. So, we identify key players across North America and send them the Dynasty HD1 before it’s available in stores. If the VIP is impressed with our stick, they’ll surely tell their friends. It’s the ultimate test but if you have a good product, it’s an easy sell,” Perera told us.
But I’m sure the question on everyone’s mind remains, how do you become a VIP?
“Our territory reps and marketing team select players they think are ‘influencers’ and can help tell the story of the new Dynasty HD1 stick. A VIP can be the local superstar player, or a social media maven who can get the word out intelligently. We need to build the most buzz possible – so we choose VIPs based on our word of mouth return.”
If you think you have what it takes to be part of the Warrior VIP program, you may want to keep an eye out for a special email. Invites to be part of the Dynasty HD1 VIP program are going out now!
