NHL Three Stars – What are they using?

FIRST STAR – ANDREW HAMMOND, G, OTTAWA SENATORS

Andrew Hammond is back as the league’s top star. He earned his spot this time by going 3-0-1 last week with a 1.63 goals against average and a .940 save percentage. Hammond has been a huge reason why the Senators have surged into the playoff hunt in the Eastern Conference.

When it comes to gear, Hammond is a Vaughn guy. He wears Vaughn goal pads and also uses a Vaughn catch glove and Vaughn blocker. Additionally, Hammond uses a Vaughn stick as part of his setup.

 

SECOND STAR – BRAYDEN SCHENN, C, PHILADELPHIA FLYERS

Brayden Schenn Philadelphia Flyers

Brayden Schenn tallied 3 goals and added another 3 assists last week to claim his spot as the second star. Those points now give him 17 goals on the season and 28 assists, good for 45 points.
Schenn is a Bauer guy from head to toe. Up top, you’ll find Schenn in a Bauer Re-Akt helmet. On his hands are the Bauer APX 2 Pro model gloves, while his stick is a Bauer Supreme Total One MX3. On his feet, you’ll find Schenn in the Bauer Supreme Total One MX3 skates. Schenn uses Bauer pants as well.

 

THIRD STAR – NICK FOLIGNO, LW, COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS

Nick Foligno Columbus Blue Jackets

Nick Foligno has been hot recently for the Blue Jackets. He earned the third star nod by scoring 4 goals and adding another assist in 3 games played. Foligno is having a career year in Columbus where he has now picked up 30 goals and 41 assists, totaling 71 points in 76 games played.

Foligno is also a Bauer guy on the ice. A Bauer 4500 helmet up top goes nicely with his Bauer Nexus four roll gloves. In his hands is a Bauer Vapor APX 2 stick. However, on his feet, you’ll find the latest Bauer Vapor 1X skates. Foligno is also using Bauer pants.
