Yesterday, Bauer Hockey took to Instagram to unveil one of their upcoming products, the Bauer Nexus 1N stick. This, of course, is the next premier level stick in the Nexus series.

The Bauer Nexus 1N stick is set to be released later this year, but we only have a few details on it so far. The Bauer Nexus 1N will have an evolved sweet spot mid-kick flex profile. What this means is that you’re going to have a larger sweet spot through the center. The Nexus 1N stick is also said to have design elements on the stick to indicate where the larger sweet spot is, but it’s hard to see that from the image below.

They have also updated the blade on the Bauer Nexus 1N stick to the Power Sense 2 Core. With this blade, the Sense Layer will be integrated directly into the outer Textreme layer of the blade.

You can also see below that the Bauer Nexus 1N stick will have a somewhat familiar black and blue color scheme.

  1. im currently using a supreme mx3 and i love it but im thinking of switching to nexus because of the larger kickpoint i cant wait for this to come out and hopefully there will be 1n skates too cuz my foot only fits nexus and my nexus 800s are wearing out

  2. I loved the Nexus 1000. It was the best stick ever made. Nexus 8000 was a big dissapointment becouse of its blade heaviness. The stick is an averange one right now. I hope they will make it light again!

  3. Anyone know if bauer will be releasing a curve like the datsyuk now that they’re the only one without a similar one because of the new warrior w16? It’d be awesome if they did

  4. I can’t wait till the 1N capital mess out because I just used it at UNH camp its and excellent stick and it has a lot of flex and I think it comes out October 10 2015
