Bobby Ryan Dangles L.A. Kings for Goal of the Year

Prior to last night’s goal, Bobby Ryan hadn’t scored in his previous 7 games. The last time he tallied was on November 20th against Nashville. But sometimes, it takes an incredible individual effort to pull you out of a slump.

Ryan achieved just that on Thursday night with one of the nicest goals you will see all year.

With the softest of hands, Bobby Ryan collected a pass at center ice and made his way into the offensive zone. He hung Brayden McNabb of the Kings out to dry with a slick move, split right between McNabb and Drew Doughty and found himself alone with Jonathan Quick. After a nice shake and bake move, he had an open net to slide the puck into.

Despite the effort, Ryan and the Senators ended up losing to the Kings by a final score of 5-3.

Ryan now has 6 goals on the season to go along with 12 assists and and a plus 2 rating.

Wondering what stick Bobby Ryan uses to pull off such magic? It’s a Sherwood Rekker EK15 stick and you can pick one up here for only $199.99.
