In the spirit of fun and friendly competition, CCM decided to put their Tacks skates to the test in the CCM Tacks Challenge. If you’re not aware, CCM offers the claim that the Tacks skates help generate maximum acceleration in the first 5 strides. To put them to the test, they paired Colorado Avalanche star Nathan MacKinnon against Olympic Gold Medal winning short track speed skater Charles Hamelin to see who could accelerate faster.
For the past couple of weeks now we’ve been seeing teasers from the race, but today CCM officially released the full video on YouTube. While the race was close, the results may not surprise you. Check out the CCM Tacks Challenge video below:
