If you have not voted for the NHL 15 cover athlete, you have until Sunday to vote for Montreal’s P.K. Subban or Boston’s Patrice Bergeron. The two are finalists among eight original players in the running for the cover of the popular NHL video game that will hit shelves this fall.

Both the Canadiens and Bruins have participated in the voting, using their Twitter accounts with #NHL15 hashtags including the player they want to see on the cover, under the impression that the player with the most mentions will win.

Of the players in the finals, the surprising one is Bergeron. He took down Olympic hero T.J. Oshie in the semis. When Oshie was announced as an Olympic finalist, many believed he would win because of the cult hero status he earned in the shootout against Russia in the Olympics.

There has never been a Montreal player on the worldwide cover. Should Bergeron win, he would be the first Bruin since goalie Andy Moog in NHL ’94 to grace the main cover. This years cover athlete was retiring goalie Martin Brodeur.

Voting ends Sunday, June 1 and you can vote at NHL.com.
