Stable26 Performance Socks

If you’re having an issue with negative space in between your feet and the boots of your skates, the performance socks from Stable26 might be just the thing for you.

Stable26 performance socks are more about the technology than the sock itself. Utilizing small silicon inserts, 2mm, 4mm, or 6mm in thickness, the socks help to eliminate negative space and provide a more customized fit for your foot in your skates. These silicon pads are placed on the inside and outside of your heel. Specifically, the 2mm pad will be on the inside of your foot, while the 4mm pad will be on the outside. This combination is adjustable, but is said to fit 75-80% of the population right out of the box.

The price of a pair of Stable26’s performance socks is $29.99. They come with the silicon inserts prepacked in the sock, allowing you to just try the socks and and get ready for a skate. If the initial setup of the silicon pads isn’t right for you, they can be modified. Additionally, a custom fit pack with additional inserts is available for an additional $9.99.

Currently, the Stable26 performance socks are available in independent retail stores throughout Canada. In the United States, you can find them at various online hockey retailers, or online through Stable26.com

Stable26 is a sport performance sock company that was recently bought out by PTX Performance Products, based out of Toronto. According to the company, they have over 100 NHL players currently wearing the performance socks, including their official product endorsement athlete Erik Karlsson.
