Thomas suddenly became expendable in Florida when the Panthers added Luongo as their long term goaltending solution. Thomas, who has been very solid at times this season in Florida, has suddenly become a goalie on a team right in the playoff picture. Dallas is suddenly looking much better down the stretch with two solid goaltenders.
