Reebok Ribcor Skates

Update: The Reebok Ribcor skates are currently available for pre-order at Ice Warehouse! Click here to pick up your pair today!

Reebok’s latest skates, the Reebok Ribcor skates, have already leaked online for Reebok fans and gear junkies to admire. The skates have gone from a black and grey design with a white felt tongue on the 20k, to the now blacked out Ribcor skates with black felt tongue.

One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is that the Reebok E-Pro holder is no longer featured. Instead, the Reebok Ribcor skates will use the new SpeedBlade 4.0 holder which made its debut on the CCM RBZ skates earlier this summer.

The Reebok Ribcor skates are currently being worn by Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Crosby will continue to wear the skates throughout training camp, and additional pictures should begin to float around towards the beginning of the season.

Our best guess is that Reebok’s upcoming Ribcor skates will be available for purchase around March, 2014. Check out the upcoming Reebok Ribcor skates below and drop us a note in the comments with your thoughts! Do you like the look of the skates or do you prefer the look of the 20k or another skate?

  1. I’m a sales man at the highest selling hockey store in calgary Alberta

And not a lot of people like the lace lock I think you should put them separately and give the costumer the choice to put them on takes 1 minute

Skate looks great people will buy this and they love this holder I’d consider a white felt tongue like the RBz

But I haven’t seen the black retail one

  2. I saw that even the top line CCM line is not Made in Canada anymore. 🙁
I hope the new top line of Reeboks are still made here. One of the reasons why I bought the 20K and Graf 735’s. My collection of Warrior Franchise gloves and pants, Eagle x95 gloves and pants. Yes, you can still buy MIC hockey products. 🙂

  3. WILL THEY COME OUT WITH A WHITE VERSION OR WILL THEY STAY BLACK, I LIKE THE LOOK OF THE WHITE K’S AND SEEN THEY HAVE THE WHITE 20K SKATE OUT NOW, I JUST LIKE THE LOOK OF THE WHITE REEBOKS.

    • Odds are they might not make them in white, souly on the fact that Matt Duchene always wears the White version of all reebok skates, but he is wearing all black ribcor skates now, that might be because of the fact that they are just testing them for reebok, so keep an eye out in a few months on Matt Duchene he will have the first pair of reebok ribcor white skates if they do make them most likely.

  4. Honestly it seems like theses companies are coming up with less and less “innovations” from year to year to try and separate you from your hard earned cash.

  5. If you’re buying any top end skate I recommend getting them custom made. I’ve been skating in a pair of RBZ’s with lace lock, black tongues, reinforced eyelets, custom lengths and widths for both feet and even had my initials embroidered on the heels. Can’t say enough about them.
CCM is also bringing back the Tack line. No pictures have been released but I have seen them, they’re greyish black with yellow accents.

  6. Do these skates still have the pump? I think the pump button is black on these skates unlike the 20k where the button is green

  7. I just bought the 30K, Ribcor skate, I had the White K before these and I have to say I like the lace lock feature, for me I like it tight around the mid of my skate….I went from Easton Se16 white editions, to the White K’s. I bought my Ribcor online and hope to try them out next week…

  8. Can the speedblade holder replace the Pro-e holder on the ccm u+ series skate? My pro-e holder broke and I want to switch it out.
