CCM RBZ Stage 2 Stick
- Updated: March 1, 2013
If you follow CCM Hockey on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, you may have noticed a few sneak peek pictures of their upcoming stick. Taken at CCM’s Speed Camp, where the new RBZ skates were on full display, attendees also had the pleasure of testing out the CCM RBZ Stage 2 stick.
Disguised in all white with minimal graphics, much like the original RBZ that was used by Gabriel Landeskog last season, the CCM RBZ Stage 2 will look to build on the success of the RBZ. Attendees of the Speed Camp saw a stick that only contained CCM and Stage 2 on it, with no other hints as to what it might be.
While most of the attention throughout the camp was focused on the skates, the RBZ Stage 2 stick is now starting to grab some attention of its own – and for good reason. The RBZ stick has been a solid performer for CCM, and they now have a good platform to build off of moving forward. The RBZ Stage 2 stick will bring new technology and design features, and should command even greater respect than its predecessor.
If you keep up on the latest golf gear, you may have known that Taylor Made currently has an RBZ Stage 2 club out. Of course we know that CCM partnered with Taylor Made on the RBZ, but the release of the Stage 2 driver seems to have been a sign of things to come. Perhaps CCM will stick with the driver’s color scheme and release the Stage 2 stick with a combination of white, grey and yellow.
While no one in the NHL is using the stick now, you can bet that it will see some action sooner or later. Keep an eye out for guys like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Gabriel Landeskog to make the switch to this stick before the end of the regular season.
Check out the CCM RBZ Stage 2 stick below. Drop us a note in the comments and let us know what you think about CCM’s upcoming twig! Be on the lookout for a possible Stage 2 release from CCM in 2013.

they should make a black limeted edition rbz.Im not a big fan of white sticks because they chip so much, maybe ccm put a different type of paint on the stage 2

that would be awesome. but that would have to make the white part black and the black part whiteish or a different kind of black.

I know not many people use it but there is a select few. You need to either offer the crazy Ovie curve or a P08 clone on the RBZ stick. I love the curve but you don’t offer it on the RBZ. I bought a Landeskog curve. I like the stick. But need my curve.
Thanks
