Brianna Decker scores nifty goal for Wisconsin

We don’t feature much women’s hockey very often, but this little dangle by Brianna Decker is definitely worth some recognition.

In a recent contest against North Dakota, Decker, a senior forward on the team, showed off her skills when she brought the puck into the offensive zone along the right wing on a short-handed penalty kill. Instead of dumping, Decker deked out the first defenseman along the boards with a toe drag into the middle before toe-dragging the puck around a second defenseman and burying the puck past goalie Shelby Amsley-Benzie for the tally. Decker’s goal was the second of the game for the Badgers and proved to be the game winner as Wisconsin came out with a 3-1 victory.

The goal capped off a great night for Decker, who added an assist during the contest and finished the night as a plus-two with six shots on goal, 20 face off wins and four penalty minutes. Check out video of Decker’s goal below:
