Pavel Datsyuk dazzles overseas too

Pavel Datsyuk has a knack for making the opposition look silly, and in the midst of the current NHL lockout, Datsyuk has taken his talents overseas to display his talents internationally.

In a KHL matchup last night against Lev Prague, Datsyuk showed just why he has been so successful in the NHL. After getting hit with a breakout pass in the neutral zone, Datsyuk performs a one-handed deke to split the defenseman, muscles past them and buries the puck with confidence behind goalie Tomas Popperle. It may not be the prettiest goal Datsyuk has ever scored (and there are plenty of examples of those on the net), but it certainly shows Datsyuk’s skill, strength and presence of mind.

Datsyuk currently has four goals and eight assists in 10 games with HC CSKA. Check out a video of the goal below:
