Was the hype worth it? Perhaps. Alexander Radulov of the Nashville Predators scored a goal in his first game back. Unfortunately for the Predators, his goal happened to be the only goal for them on the night. The Pittsburgh Penguins handled the Predators with ease, winning 5 – 1. Marc-Andre Fleury picked up his 40th win, James Neal notched his 41st assist and Evgeni Malkin netted his 44th and 45th goals of the season. Some fans thought this would be a preview of the Stanley Cup Finals. Those fans, the Predators fans at least, might realize the road to the finals might be a bit longer and harder than they had thought. Netminder Pekka Rinne has not won in 4 starts which is severely hurting the Predators. On the other hand, the Penguins are clicking at the right time and look to be, yet again, a Stanley Cup contender.
