Looks like the guys over at Easton Hockey have been cooking up something special over the past few months. Tonight, Michael Cammalleri will be using the brand new Easton Stealth RS hockey stick in his game against the Rangers. In the past, we typically hear something about the new sticks before they’re used in a game, but this one caught us by surprise. First, the new stick was announced by Easton on their Facebook page. After that, Cammalleri himself tweeted out that the new Easton Stealth RS stick had arrived and would be ready to go tonight.

We know that the Easton Stealth RS stick will continue to use the elliptical taper found in previous versions of the Stealth stick line. The new stick will actually be 25 grams lighter than the S19, and will now have a higher kick point as well. You’ll have a choice of senior, intermediate and junior sizes when purchasing, as well as either a 100 or 85 flex option in senior sticks, and a blade pattern choice of Iginla, Parise, Getzlaf, Heatley, Hall or Cammalleri. This gives you many more options than on the Stealth 65S stick.

The Stealth RS hockey stick is available for purchase as of October 1st. If you want to get your hands on an Easton Stealth RS, you can order now at Pure Hockey. Both the clear and Grip Stealth RS will cost $249.99. Be sure to use the coupon code “hockeyworld” to save 10% on select products!

  1. The junior version of this stick is bad. Brakes easily, my son has broke two of these in less than 30 days. Warranty replacement stick broke after 3 uses. Bad, save your money 🙁

  2. I had the total one and it broke on me in 2 days and I had the rs since it came out and it is fine still. So maybe get him a or a int. and they won’t brake(:

  3. just reading back thought i’d chip in if bauer wants their colors back they’d better go knocking to Louisville TPS Response because that was the yellow/black stick that started it all.

  4. I have gone through 3 stealth RS in 90 days one under warranty and two this week after the blades fall apart. The sticks crack along the bottom of the blades then they brake. I took the two sticks in where I bought them from they were going to show the Easton rep. One was cracked along the bottom still had all the yellow paint the blade looked like new. Other stick cracked along bottom and worked up the blade one more shot and it would of blew up. So basically I never got 30 days out each stick. Worst stick I have owned. Nice stick to shoot but not worth the money.

  5. After about 60 days the bottom of the blade completely split. It’s like the glue just stopped holding it together.

My 10yr old son saved up all summer to get a new stick (junior LH). He could have picked any stick and he chose the RS. He never used it for dryland training or outside skating. I’ve always been a big Easton fan but I’m not sure we’ll be getting any more Easton sticks after this.

Yes, he liked it while it was together.

  6. My son (9 yrs) is on his 4th junior RS. Easton has replaced them. They told me that the first batch that were made had “problems.” My replacements shouldn’t. One lasted twice on the ice. They aren’t breaking, they are coming apart on the blade and on the toe. He likes the stick and plays better with it, but Easton told me no more repacements. he now only uses it in games, no practice.

    • After using both, yes I would prefer the RS. I think it has a better feel and I’m far more accurate with that that the Mako.

  7. my son who is 12 yrs old got the easton rs int. The same thing happened to the bottom of the blade came apart peeled like a banana when i contacted easton they were rude and basically said to bad clearly this is a defect in the blade.
