The play of the night, last night, actually happened in a minor league hockey game. After Tim Kennedy, of the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, hit Binghamton Senators defenseman Derek Smith from behind, goalie Barry Brust decided to get his own revenge. Kennedy received a boarding penalty on the play, so as Brust skated to the bench and saw no one stick up for his teammate, he took matters into his own hands. His awesome hit sent Tim Kennedy straight to the ice wondering what just happened. Take a look at the video of the action:
